Chicken and Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients: Serving size: 4-5

  • 1 box of noodles (any)

  • 4 cans of canned chicken

  • 1 bag of frozen broccoli (or 10 oz of fresh broccoli)

  • 1 bag of shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Fill a medium sized pot with water and begin to boil the water.

  • While the water is boiling, get out a medium sized saucepan. Drain chicken and cook chicken in saucepan on low heat to warm up. Flip chicken as needed.

  • If using fresh broccoli, rinse off the broccoli and cut into small pieces.

  • Once the water is boiling, add the noodles and cook per package instructions.

  • 5 minutes before the noodles are done boiling, add the broccoli (frozen or fresh) to the pot of boiling water. Boil the broccoli with the noodles for the remainder of the 5 minutes on the clock.

  • Drain the noodles and broccoli. Add them back into the pot.

  • Add the cooked chicken into the pot with the noodles and broccoli. Stir.

  • Open the bag of parmesan cheese and sprinkle into the pot about ¼ of the bag. Stir well. Repeat the process until you have emptied the bag of cheese.

  • Allow to cool before storing in the refrigerator if not serving right away.
